This is a very high waisted skirt, so I would recommend it to a taller person. It is a little snug around the rib area, but it looks great on! It does have nice detail in the fabric. There is no give to the material, so I would recommend not going down in a size. I got a lot of compliments with this skirt! It has a very custom, victorian look to it.

A real shame

This is a really stunning skirt. The picture does not do it justice at all ,as you cannot see all the detail. One of my issues with this skirt is sizing. It fitted me on the waist but not on the ribs. The waist measurement is the same on the waist as it is on the ribs, so it didn't work on my hour glass figure. Ive ordered the next size up. It did look lovely around my tummy area (which sticks out a bit). Also beautiful on the hips. I would recommend if you have a straight up and down figure order your normal size. If you have a hour glass figure, go a size above. After I wore this on a night out I was disappointed. The zip on the side kept making the skirt misshaped on the ribs and waist. I can only wear this with a corset ,which is a real shame.
