They r a gift but my overall impression was they look well made with attention to detail. My granddaughter tried them on and she said they felt of good quality and very comfortable. They have been put away till Christmas so I cannot comment on how they wash but I feel confident with the outcome.

I love these trousers, they're so cool and unique. I'm a size 10-12 and got a 12 initially but they were way to big around the waist and gathered weirdly when pulled in, so I sized down and they fit much better although do tend to ride up and sit high on my waist. They're still a bit big on the waist but the draw string sorted this no problems. They are very long but they have draw strings on the ankles too so I wear them with these pulled in. The strips of fabric lowest on the leg drag along the floor as they're a bit too long, so you may need to tuck them in to the pockets if this bothers you. Note the cord for the waist comes extremely long too and I had to cut this. I've worn them throughout the summer and they're a very light comfortable material.
