This skirt is gorgeous-velvet is thick but not too thick (so does not add any bulk!). I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and this skirt almost reaches the floor- without shoes- which is great; the number of times a skirt has been labelled as maxi and then I am still showing off my chunky ankles I cannot begin to count! I think this is a skirt that will become a firm favourite for both day and evening
