The fabric is nice and soft, would be nice in warm weather too, the fit is quite generous so the different leg patterns isn't instantly noticable, maybe I could have gone down a size to stretch and show them better, but I like these anyway. they thicker than tights but quite thin for leggings, they are a bit different without being OTT. I personally wouldn't wear them without a tunic or dress over my knicker area for modesty. Fast free post, thanks Kate's.
