Plum Passion vs Purple Haze - what's the difference?
Purple Haze is brighter and more violet. Plum Passion is deeper, warmer, and richer - closer to a true plum colour with red-purple tones rather than blue-purple. If you want vivid purple, go Purple Haze. If you want something darker and more sophisticated, Plum Passion is the one.
Does Plum Passion work on dark hair?
On bleached or pre-lightened hair, Plum Passion delivers its most vibrant deep plum results. On unbleached dark brown hair it adds a warm purple-plum tint and reddish-purple depth that's subtle but genuinely beautiful in the right light. It won't dramatically transform black hair without bleaching first, but it's one of the better Manic Panic shades for adding warmth to naturally dark hair.

Application & Results:
For the most vibrant plum purple results, apply to bleached or pre-lightened hair. For warm purple tones on brown hair, apply directly to dry unbleached hair and leave on as long as possible for maximum colour deposit. Always perform a patch test before use.
